New Postings for Principals in Jammu and Kashmir Colleges
In a recent development, the Government of Jammu and Kashmir’s Higher Education Department has announced a series of transfers and postings of Principals within the department, aimed at enhancing administrative efficiency.
The government order, No. 128-JK(HE) of 2024, dated February 29, 2024, mandates these changes to take immediate effect.
Ravinder Kumar Tickoo, previously stationed at GDC Kunjwani, has been reassigned to GCW Parade, while Shallu Sambyal, B.B Anand, GS Rukwal, SP Saraswat, Kuldeep Sharma, Manisha Kohli, Rajinder Singh, Nalini Pathania, Anwar Shah, and Manohar Lal have all been designated new postings across various institutions.
Furthermore, Anjali Mahajan will now serve at GCW Udhampur after her tenure at GDC Nagrota, while Mussaraf Hussain Shah and Zamir Ahmed Mirza will swap positions between GDC Darhal and GDC Mandi.
This reshuffle aims to optimize administrative roles within the Higher Education Department and streamline operations for improved effectiveness.
The order, signed by Alok Kumar, IRS, Principal Secretary to the Government, Higher Education Department, has been communicated to relevant authorities, including the Ministry of Home Affairs in New Delhi, the Director of Archives, Archeology & Museums, J&K, the Director of Colleges, J&K, and others for necessary action and compliance.
This strategic repositioning underscores the government’s commitment to fostering a conducive environment for higher education in Jammu and Kashmir, ensuring the seamless functioning of educational institutions across the region.
